Newfield 2, Floyd 1: Lorenzo Selini scored off a free kick 14 minutes into the second half to break a tie at 1 and lead No. 9 Newfield (11-4-1) over No. 8 Floyd in the first round of the Suffolk AA playoffs. Sebastian Paniccia opened the scoring for Floyd in the 28th minute before Rafael Celanti tied the game less than two minutes later. Newfield will play at No. 1 Commack on Friday at 2 p.m.
