Class AA championship In her last match as a Smithtown West Bull, Sally Tietjen recorded 19 kills, 8 digs, 3 aces, 1 block and 1 assist to lead the Bulls to a 3-1 victory over Connetqout in the Suffolk County AA Championship Match. Kasey Tietjen added 11 kills and 6 digs. Carley McAleavey contributed 9 kills and 4 blocks. Senior Hannah Naja finished with 8 kills, 8 digs and 1 ace while Sophomore Kira Pirrera directed the Bulls' offense recording 29 assists. Pirrrera also added 5 blocks and 2 aces. Freshman libero Erika Gehrling contributed 8 digs and 2 aces. The victory completes an undefeated season for the Bulls (18-0).
