Sacred Heart 3, St. Mary's (Buffalo) 2: Emily Barry tallied 13 kills to lead No. 1 Sacred Heart (16-1) over No. 2 St. Mary's (Buffalo) in the CHSAA state championship at St. Mary's High School in Buffalo. Olivia DeJesus added 11 kills and 11 blocks. Riley Leimbach recorded 39 assists. Carlea Mirante registered 12 kills. "It was a great win," Sacred Heart head coach Emily Butler said. "St. Mary's is a very competitive team, they have won the last two years. It was a long, hard-fought match. We wound up coming back from behind in the fifth."
