St. Dominic 3, St. John the Baptist 2: Freshman Kiera Acholonu had 20 kills and four blocks to lead St. Dominic to a 21-25, 25-22, 25-20, 22-25, 15-13 win in the NSCHSAA quarterfinals, allowing the Bayhawks to advance to the semifinals for the first time in program history. Freshman Faith Peluso contributed 42 digs, four kills and three aces for St. Dominic in a match that lasted almost three hours. Setter Emma Filbry added 29 assists, 21 digs and two kills, while Payton Stevens had 29 digs, Alexandra Cavallone had 19 digs and Alexandra Marshall had 15 digs, eight kills, three assists and one ace. Nicole Covino also had 15 digs and Kaitlyn Toohig had five aces for St. Dominic.
