HIGHLIGHTS
Jericho 3, Port Washington 2: Matt Mitko and Josh Chen each had 16 kills to lead No. 3 Jericho past No. 6 Port Washington in the quarterfinals of the Nassau Division I playoffs. Chen completed the double-double with 11 digs. Mitko also picked up eight digs, four blocks and three aces. Aaron Abbas had 15 digs and 25 assists while Chase Ngai added 23 assists and nine digs in the win. Keith Leung led the defense with 26 digs. Stephen Lyu added six kills and led the squad with seven total blocks. Jericho (13-4) will face No. 7 East Meadow in the semifinals on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Oceanside High School. Port Washington finished 7-10.
