HIGHLIGHTS
Northern Region, the team made up of Locust Valley, Carle Place, Glen Cove and Oyster Bay, posted some personal best times during their meet against North Shore. The 200 yard medley relay team of Mia Dessner, Bella Dilgard-Clark, Nina Lemaitre and Lena McAree kicked off the meet with a first place finish and a time of 2:08.35. Lemaitre secured two additional first place finishes in the 100 yard butterfly (1:01.76) and the 100 yard breaststroke (1:14.13) with the latter resulting in a new team record. In the 500 yard freestyle, McAree saw a 6 second drop in her time (6:24.60) while Gwyn Pereira dropped 20 seconds (7:27.32).
