HIGHLIGHTS
Friends Academy 5, Stony Brook 1: Kristina Kim scored a hat trick to lead Friends Academy (10-2-2) over Stony Brook (6-10-1) for the Long Island Championship title in Class C. "She had a solid game for us," head coach Gail Baker said. Goaltender Tolo Ojo recorded two saves. Katarina Heffron and Julia Kavan both added one goal a piece. Shikinah Pettway, Lindsay O'Sullivan and Heffron each recorded one assist. "I'm so proud of my team and what they have accomplished," Baker said. Friends Academy will face Haldane on Saturday at 11:30AM for the regional final. "I had high hopes and aspiration for this team, but they surpassed all of my goals," Baker said. "I'm extremely proud of the way this group came together. "
