Bellmore JFK 1, Wantagh 0: Meredith Jones scored the game-winning goal with a header in the first two minutes of the game off of a free kick by Franki Priore to lead No. 5 Bellmore JFK (7-7-2) over No. 4 Wantagh (7-7-2) in the Nassau Class A quarterfinals. Nicole Liotta recorded her third shutout of the season. This is the first time in history that Bellmore JFK has made it to the semifinals. They will play in the semifinals on Saturday against the winner of the No. 8 Island Trees vs. No. 1 South Side game.
