Long Beach 5, Mepham 3: Valeria Catrambore scored two minutes into the first overtime on an assist by Shannon Horgan and Jessica Shreck added an insurance goal with a minute remaining in the second overtime to lead No. 11 Long Beach (6-5-2) over No. 6 Mepham in a Nassau AA first round game. Catrambore had scored the tying goal to send it to overtime with eight minutes remaining. Long Beach moves on to play MacArthur in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
