Wantagh 3, North Shore 2: Caitlin Albanese scored the game-winning goal, on a cross from Morgan Flaherty, with 5:34 left in the second OT to spark No. 3 Wantagh (5-7-3) in the Nassau A quarterfinals. Albanese also scored a first-half goal, while Flaherty finished the day with one goal and two assists and Erin Murphy recorded 12 saves in net. Cailey Welch scored both goals for No. 6 North Shore, including the game-tying goal with 18 minutes left in regulation. Wantagh advances to face the winner of Valley Stream South and Mepham at Cold Spring Harbor High School on Sunday, Oct. 28.
