Smithtown East 3, Smithtown West 2: Danielle Bartsch took a direct kick from 35 yards out, which Lauren Couto fielded and got enough on her shot to score in the lower left corner with 10:20 remaining to give Smithtown East (4-0) the 3-2 lead in Suffolk III. East trailed 2-0 to begin the game and Couto found Jordan Sackaris, who fired a shot from 20 yards out off the crossbar and into the net with 13:34 remaining to tie the game at 2. "It was nice to come back after being down 2-0," said Smithtown East coach Bill Hamilton.
