Hewlett 2, Jericho 1: Ella Giordano scored her second goal of the night 46 seconds into the first overtime period to win a play-in game for Hewlett (12-2-1) in Nassau IV play. Giordano scored 59th minutes into the second half on a free kick from outside the box to tie the game. Alyssa Reich made five saves in the win. For Jericho (11-4-2), Marianna Charalambous scored on a penalty kick in the 30th and Taylor Spivak saved five shots. Hewlett is now the No. 14 seed in the Nassau Class AA postseason tournament and will visit No. 3 MacArthur on Tuesday for the first round of the playoffs.
