East Islip 1, Northport 0: Goaltender Frank Noviello scored the game-winning penalty kick to lead No. 16 East Islip (8-7-2) over No. 17 Northport (6-7-4) in the first round of the Suffolk AA playoffs. After two scoreless overtime rounds, Noviello shot the ball directly into the right corner to clinch the win. Noviello recorded his seventh shutout. East Islip will play in the first round of 16 on Tuesday against No. 1 Smithtown West.
