Commack 3, Newfield 0: Nick Mastroianni netted the first two goals in the second half as No. 1 Commack (15-1-2) defeated No. 9 Newfield in a Suffolk AA quarterfinal. Matthew Cozetti tacked on a goal, and Bobby Abshire, Aidan Keenan and Matthew Newfield had one assist apiece. Goalkeeper Brian Mirman had seven saves in his 11th shutout of the season. Commack will host Half Hollow Hills West in the semifinals Monday at 2 p.m.
