Sachem East (3-1) trailed 3-0 with 37 minutes remaining in regulation but scored three goals in the next nine minutes to pull even. Nick Cirillo scored the equalizer off a cross from Anthony Ruggiero (one goal, one assist). Commack was ranked No. 13 in the New York State Sportswriters Association's latest poll. "It was like organized mayhem," coach Matt Stallone said of the celebration after the winner. "Guys were just running all over the place. People were almost jumping out of the stands."
