Brentwood 3, Ward Melville 0: Roberto Ventura scored on a diving header in the middle of the first half to lead No. 1 Brentwood (17-1) over No. 9 Ward Melville in the quarterfinals of the Suffolk AA playoffs. Jason Murillo had five saves for his 13th shutout of the season. Brentwood coach Ron Eden said it's the eighth consecutive final four for the program. Brentwood hosts No. 4 Huntington Monday at 1 p.m.
