HIGHLIGHTS
Greece Athena 4, East Hampton 2: RJ Nichol had two goals and Jason Siracuse added a goal and an assist to lead Greece Athena in its Class A boys soccer state championship win. Nichol scored his first on a header that was assisted by Nick Messmer in the 57th minute to put the Trojans on top 3-1. The Bonackers (18-2-2) played without leading goal scorer Nick West, who suffered a left foot injury in yesterday's state semifinal win over Jamesville-DeWitt. Esteban Valverde's goal in the 18th minute tied the score at one, but Greece Athena answered to regain the lead that it wouldn't relinquish on a direct kick goal by Siracuse in the 27th minute. Nick Tulp made a game-high eight saves.
