Amityville 1, Sayville 1: Kevin Medrano's goal in penalty kicks was the game-winner for No. 5 Amityville (12-5) in its Suffolk Class A quarterfinal win over No. 4 Sayville (9-6-2), the defending county champs. Kevin Rivera scored in the 44th minute to tie the score at one. Cameron Rode's goal in the 42nd minute put the Golden Flashes on top 1-0. The Warriors won their first playoff game since 1985, Amityville coach Mike Abbondondolo said, and will play at top-seeded East Hampton in the semifinals at 2 p.m. Monday.
