HIGHLIGHTS
Whitman 4, Sachem North 3 (OT): Witman Hernandez's third goal with 5:09 remaining in the first overtime won it for No. 4 Whitman (13-3-1) in its Suffolk Class AA first round victory. Jon Consolo had the assist. Albert Martinez added two assists. Harrison Weilbacher scored his second goal off an assist from Nicholas Plate with 1:51 left in regulation to tie the score at three for No. 13 Sachem North (8-8-1). Weilbacher finishes his career with 48 goals, the most in Sachem history according to coach Chris Russo. The Wildcats will host the winner of No. 5 Ward Melville/No. 12 Half Hollow Hills East in the quarterfinals at 2 p.m. Friday.
