Michael Mannino had a goal and three assists on corner kicks including on that led to Jamith Jimenez game-winning goal in the first overtime as Whitman (14-5) won the Long Island Class AAA championship. Syosset led 3-1 early in the second half, but fell into a 4-3 deficit before Jack Pendrick's goal with 5:00 left in regulation tied the score. Alex Depriore, Jursen Contreras and Anthony Reyes Santos added goals for Whitman, which advances to play Fairport in a state semifinal on Saturday in Middletown, N.Y. Miles Nevins made 16 saves in goal for Syosset (10-2-6).
