Alex Del Priore scored the go-ahead goal with 12:24 remaining and third-seeded Whitman (13-5) held on to beat No. 4 Connetquot (13-3-1) in the Suffolk Class AAA championship game at Patchogue-Medford. It was Whitman's first county title since 2018. Whitman will face Syosset for a Long Island championship at 6 p.m. Saturday at Farmingdale State College.
