No. 4 Carle Place 2, No. 1 Cold Spring Harbor 0: Carle Place scored twice in the final eight minutes and the fourth-seeded Frogs upset top-seeded Cold Spring Harbor 2-0 in a Nassau Class B boys soccer semifinal on Thursday night at Jericho. It will be going for its fifth straight county title next Thursday against the winner of the late semifinal between No. 2 Locust Valley and No. 3 Wheatley. Ryan Li finished a Ryan Leary throw-in with about eight minutes left in regulation and then Tyler Aguilar sealed the win with a breakaway goal with six minutes to play. Keeper John Hoisik had 10 saves for his fifth shutout of the season. Carle Place (7-5-1) was the Class C champion a year ago and won the Class B title the three seasons before that. It has won seven county championships in the last nine seasons.
