Baldwin 49, Hempstead 14: Gerard Lyle caught two touchdown passes and returned a punt for a score, and Derek Drew rushed for 92 yards on 11 attempts with two touchdowns to lead Baldwin (2-0) over Hempstead (1-1) in Conference I. Drew's 4-yard run capped off a six-play scoring drive with eight minutes left in the first. Lyle caught a 20-yard pass from Tyler Warner right before halftime to give Baldwin a 35-0 lead. Warner completed six of six passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns.
