Valley Stream South 38, Cold Spring Harbor 20: Stefawn James went 4-for-8 for 87 yards and two touchdowns, ran for 53 yards and another touchdown and had a team high 11 tackles to lead Valley Stream South (2-5) in Conference IV. James and Isaiah Morgan, who had eight tackles, made key plays stopping a goal-to-go drive for Cold Spring Harbor late in the third quarter. James hit Tyler Gill for a 27-yard touchdown on the ensuing drive that lasted nine minutes to seal the win.
