Elmont 44, Bellmore JFK 6: Kendall St. Louis intercepted a pass on an overthrown attempt and returned it 55 yards for a touchdown with about eight minutes left in the first and Elmont's defense continued to make big plays to lead them over Bellmore JFK (0-2) in Conference II. Elmont scored on a safety when Matt Brutus made the tackle with six minutes left in the first. With two minutes left in the first half, Brutus ran through tremendous blocking led by noseguard Valdy Valere for a 58-yard punt return, which made the score 30-0. Anthony Penalvert recorded the tackle for Elmont's second safety in the third.
