HIGHLIGHTS
New Utrecht 35, Sheepshead Bay 28: Joseph Cangelosi found Kenneth Shaw for a 20-yard touchdown in double overtime to lead New Utrecht in its PSAL 3A season opener. Jeremiah Harvey had a fourth down conversion to set up Cangelosi's1-yard rushing touchdown in the first overtime. Shaw totaled 156 yards and two touchdowns. Hang Yu Li had 10 tackles, two forced fumbles and added a rushing touchdown. Alexander Loria had seven tackles. Jacob Pierre Louis had four tackles and a 30-yard fumble return for a touchdown. Jayden Browne threw for 215 yards and three total touchdowns for Sheepshead Bay.
