Calhoun 25, Mepham 19: Gianni Capizzi returned a fumble 97 yards for a touchdown to open the scoring and recovered a fumble in double overtime, forced by Anthony Cespedes, for host Calhoun in Nassau II. Jacob Fortin threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Joe Smith for the go-ahead score in double overtime before Capizzi's fumble recovery. Fortin went 13-for-20 for 101 yards and a TD and added 51 rushing yards and a rushing TD for Calhoun (1-1). Smith caught four passes for 51 yards and a score. Nick Maresca ran for 86 yards and a score. James Chicco had four tackles, a sack and an interception. Aydin Habib had three tackles and an interception. Mepham fell to 1-1.
