East Meadow 37, Hicksville 6: Nick Schwabe had two carries for 61 yards and a touchdown and caught a 25-yard TD from Mike Petitto to lead East Meadow in a Nassau I opener. Alexander Lengu had three carries for 40 yards and two TDs and added three two-point conversion runs, eight tackles and one tackle for a loss. Kyle Francis had a 59-yard pick-6, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup. Vin Garner had two tackles and a sack. William Cataldo ran for a 1-yard TD for Hicksville.
