Sachem North 42, Patchogue-Medford 6: Luke LaRocca completed 9 of 13 passes for 179 yards and four touchdowns and added seven carries for 49 yards and a TD to lead visiting Sachem North in a Suffolk Division I opener. Gavin Nuzzi returned the opening kickoff 75 yards for a TD, caught two passes for 45 yards and a score and added an interception. Lucas Bouchard had three catches for 90 yards and two TDs. Joey Vulin added a 15-yard TD catch. Jake Kuhlman and Vito DePalo each had 5 1/2 tackles and Niko Valenza had a sack. Andrew Johnstone ran for a 3-yard TD for Patchogue-Medford.
