Island Trees 25, Oyster Bay/Friends Academy 22: Markus Bazelais ran for 165 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries and caught two passes for 66 yards and another score to lead Island Trees in its Nassau IV opener. Kurt Echezuria threw a long touchdown pass and Gio Campisi ran kick back 67 yards for a touchdown to take the lead for good. Gerard Ritter paced his team with seven tackles. Chase Lordi rushed 16 times for 155 yards and three touchdowns, made two tackles for a loss and also blocked an extra point for Oyster Bay/Friends Academy.
