HIGHLIGHTS
Mepham 39, Calhoun 17: Tyler Davis completed 7 of 10 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown, and ran for 125 yards and three scores to lead Mepham (1-1) in Nassau II. Davis rushed only three times but had touchdown runs of 52 and 56 yards. His 52-yard burst gave the Pirates a 22-8 lead with 4:35 remaining in the second quarter. Chris Durkin ran for 91 yards on 13 attempts and, at linebacker, made nine tackles. Yianni Hilas had two catches for 80 yards and a touchdown, and at cornerback, had an interception in the second quarter. Joe Franco made seven tackles, Norbert Piotrowski had five tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.
