Valley Stream Central 24, Port Washington 21: Shakai Brownlow returned a punt 65 yards for the decisive touchdown with 10:52 left in the fourth quarter for Valley Stream Central (2-3) in its Conference I win. After Matthew Nicholson threw a touchdown pass to Johnny Mahas to pull Port Washington to within 24-21 with 2:09 left, Port Washington recovered an onside kick. But a deflected pass on fourth down with Port Washington at the 10-yard line and five seconds remaining secured Valley Stream Central's win. Hasan Chambers ran 18 times for 123 yards and two touchdowns. Thomas Logan completed 8 of 17 passes for 83 yards, and added 46 rushing yards. Corey Saltzman led the defense with an interception and fumble recovery.
