Jericho 21, Valley Stream Central 20: With 9:08 remaining in the game, Jake Morgan rushed for the game-tying touchdown and Max Spector made the go-ahead extra point to ultimately win it for Jericho (2-0) in Nassau II. In the game's final minute, Alex Mizrahi recovered a fumble to seal the victory. Morgan finished the day with 114 yards and the aforementioned touchdown on 13 carries and added one reception for 16 yards. JP Wang carried the ball 17 times for 71 yards and two scores while leading the defense with seven tackles, one of which was for a loss. Spector went 3-for-3 on his extra-point attempts and also made four tackles. For Valley Stream Central (0-2), Evan Nelson ran for one touchdown and threw another to Gavin Ferdinand while Zeyvren Isaac rushed for a score that gave his team a 20-14 lead.
