Great Neck North 17, Long Island Lutheran 8: Justin Nasimi ran a fly down the sideline and caught a 40-yard touchdown pass from Brian Kahen with eight minutes left in the third to lead Great Neck North (2-0) over Long Island Lutheran (0-2) in Conference V. Nasimi also had 49 rushing yards. Great Neck North scored again through the air in the thirdm with Rom Cohen running a down-and-in route and catching a 9-yard pass from Kahen. The play capped a nine-play drive and put Great Neck North ahead 17-0.
