East Meadow 28, New Hyde Park 27: After allowing a score on defense in overtime, Trevor Smith rushed for a three-yard touchdown and James Galiano turned the corner and ran in the walk-off two-point conversion to lead East Meadow (2-0) in Nassau II. Smith threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 127 yards and another two scores. Nick Schwabe had six receptions for 107 yards and two touchdowns, the second of which cut East Meadow's deficit to 20-18. Galiano then rushed for his first of two two-point conversions to tie the game and ultimately send it to overtime. Schwabe also had an interception on defense, while Alexander Lengu made 13 tackles and added one sack. For New Hyde Park (0-2), Lukas Rinaldi ran 22 times for 167 yards and three touchdowns while Chris Notine threw a scoring pass to Brendan Rooney.
