Longwood 19, Sachem East 7: Kyon Sarwari rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries to lead Longwood (1-1) over host Sachem East in Suffolk I. Travis Gibbs blocked a key field goal in the fourth quarter, which was returned 48 yards by Caleb Munoz. Sarwari capped the ensuing drive, which included a 21-yard catch by Craig Harty, with a 3-yard touchdown run to give Longwood a 12-7 lead in the fourth quarter. Sarwari later had a 12-yard touchdown run to secure the victory. Mark Davis had an interceptions and Nyyir Thomas had a fumble recovery as well. Sachem East is 1-1.
