St. Anthony's 35, Cardinal Hayes 30: Gary Merrill scored the game-winning touchdown with 46 seconds remaining on a 10-yard run, to lead No. 2 St. Anthony's over No. 3 Cardinal Hayes in the CHSFL AAA semifinals on Friday night. Merril had 227 yards and four touchdowns on 27 carries and completed 6-of-8 passes and threw a touchdown. Xavier Bala had 89 rushing yards on 17 carries. Camden Urso had two forced fumbles, two sacks and a tackle for loss. St. Anthony's (7-3) will face the winner of No. 1 Iona Prep/No. 5 Chaminade at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Mitchell Field in the championship.
