Oceanside 40, Syosset 27: Brandy Diaz had 134 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries to lead Oceanside (2-2) in Conference I. Vinny Guarino went 15-for-23 for 268 yards and threw each of his touchdowns in the first half. Guarino also ran for 68 yards. Mike Checco had six receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns. James Paczkowski chipped in with 22 rushing yards and a touchdown, caught three passes for 29 yards and came away with an interception. Syosset falls to 1-3.
