Sayville 59, Eastport-South Manor 13: Kyle Messina led team in rushing with nine carries and 159 yards, scoring three touchdowns on the way to a Suffolk III qualifying win for No. 1 Sayville over No. 8 Eastport-South Manor Friday night. Patrick Coan turned all three of his passes into touchdowns, finishing with 84 yards. Tommy McCann had two catches for 77 yards and two TDs, and Mikey Sands added a 7-yard touchdown reception. Sands also had seven tackles, two TFLs, a fumble recovery and a 35-yard pick-six. Tristan Vitale added the final score, finishing with three carries for 78 yards and a score. He also forced a safety. Dylan Kent and Donovan Bartolotta both had an interception. Ryan Linker led the team in tackles with eight. John Metz and Joey Hershey added rushing scores for Eastport-South Manor (3-6). Sayville (9-0) will host No. 4 Westhampton in the semifinal round on Friday, Nov. 15, at 6 p.m.
