Plainedge 49, North Shore 14: Jaxson Torres completed all nine of his passes for 242 yards and three touchdowns and added a rushing TD to lead host No. 1 Plainedge over No. 8 North Shore in the Nassau IV quarterfinals. Alec Anderson caught three passes for 103 yards and two TDs and Jake Parpan caught a 54-yard score. John Cynar had seven carries for 56 yards and a TD and Dimietri Vardamaskos ran for a 15-yard score. P.J. Bruno returned a fumble on kickoff 25 yards for a touchdown. Plainedge (8-1) will face the winner of No. 4 East Rockaway/No. 5 Seaford in the semifinals on Thursday at Hofstra. Tommy Curran caught a TD pass from Casey Gates and Charlie Godfrey ran for a score for North Shore (4-5).
