Valley Stream South 49, Lawrence 6: David Brooks rushed four times for 125 yards and two touchdowns, including a 58-yarder to start the scoring and lead Valley Stream South (1-5) in Nassau IV. Peter Grief added an explosive 93-yard touchdown run. Daniel Casey, Emmanuel Williams and Aidan Paris also rushed for touchdowns in the win. On defense, Jayshaun Woodard returned an interception 71 yards a touchdown. Gerick Joseph added four tackles. Junior Roberts recorded two tackles and a sack. Eric Kaneev made all seven of his extra-point attempts. Geovanni Richardson rushed for a 55-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to break up the shutout for Lawrence (0-6).
