HIGHLIGHTS
Northport 27, Huntington 6: Gio Valenti totaled 10 tackles, two sacks, an interception and blocked an extra point to lead host Northport in a Suffolk II opener. Ben Pipolo added two sacks and Reid Johansen had eight tackles and an interception. Enrique Hernandez ran for a 46-yard touchdown and threw for 107 yards including a 30-yard touchdown to Thomas O'Brien. Asher Levine ran in a two-yard score and Zac Loh kicked two field goals and three extra points. Jack Kamenstein caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Jacob Guzik for Huntington.
