Northport 24, Whitman 0: John Tabet scored two touchdowns in Suffolk I. His first, a 15-yard run with 8:00 left in the first quarter, gave Northport a 7-0 lead. His second score, this time from five yards out, put the Tigers up 14-0 with 8:00 left in the second quarter. Rob Dosch added an eight yard touchdown run with 6:00 left in the game. Andrew Smith went 6-for-9 for 100 yards. James Gerdvil ran for 85 yards on 14 carries. Gerdvil also made eight tackles as a middle linebacker for Northport (2-0).
