Hauppauge 61, Rocky Point 22: John Margolies rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries and added a 65-yard interception return for a touchdown to lead Hauppauge in its Suffolk III opener. Christian Russo added 186 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries and Gershon Diaz rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Elvis Cortes had six tackles, Andrew Sharrer had five tackles and John Passanante added four tackles in the win. Jeremy Graham completed 12 of 19 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns and added a 1-yard rushing touchdown for Rocky Point.
