North Shore 21, Island Trees 12: Defensive tackle Athanasios Alafogiannis had two interceptions for North Shore in Nassau IV, returning one in the third quarter for 68 yards to bring the ball to the Island Trees nine-yard line. His second interception sealed the victory for the Vikings when Matt D'Aversa sacked the quarterback, and Alafogiannis dove for the ball. Alafogiannis finished the day with a fumble recovery and two sacks. Garrett Gates took 14 carries for 115 yards and a touchdown. He also threw for 60 yards and a touchdown. Ryan Lau had five rushes for 49 yards and a score. North Shore improves to 4-4. Island Trees falls to 5-3.
