Valley Stream South 34, Carle Place/Wheatley 14: Michael Hernandez was 8 for 10 with 186 passing yards and three touchdowns and added 58 rushing yards on five carries to lead Valley Stream South (2-1) over Carle Place/Wheatley (1-3) in Nassau IV football on Saturday. Aiden Chance had 101 yards and two rushing touchdowns on 14 carries and he grabbed another touchdown on a 16 yard pass from Hernandez. Jayshaun Woodard finished with 118 receiving yards on five catches. Lonnie Creech made nine tackles, Aiden Bunch made six tackles and Elijah Jack and Aaron Daniels each had a sack.
