Deer Park 32, North Babylon 20: Jasawn Thompson had 12 carries for 185 yards and four touchdowns and also had 12 tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles to lead Deer Park (2-0) in League II. Thompson opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 13-yard run and scored on an 80-yard off tackle run with 3:34 left in the second to make it 20-6 Deer Park. After North Babylon returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown, Thompson scored his third touchdown on a 28-yard run with 2:45 left in the half. Chris Tavella caught a 28-yard touchdown in the second quarter and made 11 tackles and defensive end Marcus Rivera had seven tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for Deer Park.
