Hewlett 26, South Side 0: Jeremy Leguillow had 29 carries for 211 yards and a touchdown and middle linebacker Tredd Smith had eight tackles, an interception, a sack and a forced fumble to lead Hewlett (2-0) in Nassau III. Leguillow opened the scoring with a 5-yard touchdown run with seven minutes left in the first quarter and set up Hewlett's second score with a 40-yard rush in the second quarter that brought Hewlett to the South Side 10. Messiah Ajayi Clark scored on the next play with eight minutes left in the second. Five minutes later, Josh Pincus found Dante Sibbles running a go route for a 29-yard touchdown catch. With five minutes left in the third, Smith got a strip-sack, and Anthony Santiago recovered the fumble in the endzone to make it 26-0 Hewlett.
