North Shore 51, Clarke 14: Nicholas La Rosa rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries and Peter Liotta rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries as No. 1 North Shore defeated No. 8 Clarke in the Nassau Conference IV semifinals. Ryan Freund added 79 yards on four carries, including a 61-yard touchdown to give North Shore a 14-6 lead in the first quarter. He also had an interception. Michael Fleming made all six of his PATs and hit a 21-yard field goal. North Shore rushed for 489 total yards. Justin Somyak had a 55-yard touchdown run on the first play of scrimmage for Clarke before North Shore scored the game's next 45 points. Clarke finishes 3-6. North Shore (9-0) advances to play No. 4 Malverne in the Conference IV semifinals at Hofstra on Thursday.
