Ward Melville 38, Whitman 7: Nick Gaffney rushed for two touchdowns to help No. 4 Ward Melville defeat No. 5 Whitman in the first round of the Suffolk I playoffs. His first touchdown was from 51 yards and the second from 28. Ward Melville scored 38 unanswered points to start the game, all in the first half, but did not score after halftime. Andrew Belli threw three touchdowns in the win, including a 60-yard pass to Jackson Weber. Cameron Carlson scored Whitman's only touchdown in the third quarter on a 7-yard run.
